Tone Devil Legacy PAF’s
The Tone Devil Legacy PAFs are inspired by the defining coil shapes and winds from the Gibson Golden Era of the late 50’s. Each set has been developed from testing, listening and crafting a PAF that captures the sonic mysticality and feel of the originals.
Spellbound
The Spellbound set is based off early PAFs - a perfect marriage of low wind and unique coil shape. Shimmery, open and organic. Looser bottom end and softer pick attack, in turn creating luscious harmonic content and note bloom

Revelry
The Revelry set is Tone Devils flagship - tonally inspired by the elite of PAF equipped guitars from the Golden era of Gibson. This set pairs a Spellbound in the neck with a unique wind in the bridge. This wind retains some give in the pick attack while incorporating definition, tighter lows and clarity to the highs. The A2 projects mid range crunch, a more saturated tone, creamy highs and a percussive quality to the low end. The Spellbound neck is a perfect pairing - its openness and softer attack make playing feel effortless. These PAF’s are very interactive, summoning the best of your capabilities and inspire a vast palette of tonal expression
If you love the tone of the ‘MK Burst’ currently owned by Marcus King choose the Revelry MK set in matching A5 listed below. This set has some extra push in the back and captures the MK Burst really well

Empyrean
The Empyrean set is tonally inspired by the crème de la crème of 58’ era solid body and semi / hollow body guitars from the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo. Featuring differing coil designs to the neck and bridge - the bridge wind has the perfect amount of compression without feeling stiff or overly loose in the pick attack. Sparkly cleans, harmonic content, note bloom, tight lows and a nice growl in the mid range are all present. The neck pickup, when compared to the Spellbound, has more focus and clarity - a great choice for players that require more definition over a more open sound and spongey feel. If you love the tone of Tom Bukovac’s 58’ Burst from ‘the Home Skoolin’ channel on YT or Pat’s 58’ Gold Top from ‘The Doug & Pat Show’ this is the set for you. A4 is standard and tonally closest to these 58’ era guitars (A4/A5 also works equally as well)
