Tone Devil Legacy PAF’s
The Tone Devil Legacy PAFs are inspired by the defining coil shapes and winds from the Gibson Golden Era of the late 50’s. Each set has been developed from testing, listening and crafting a PAF that captures the sonic mysticality and feel of the originals.
Spellbound
The Spellbound set is based off early PAFs - a perfect marriage of low wind and unique coil shape. Shimmery, open and organic. Looser bottom end and softer pick attack, in turn creating luscious harmonic content and note bloom
For players that like more focus and definition in the neck - an Empyrean neck pickup is available upon request. Refer to the Empyrean set for details

Empyrean
The Empyrean set is tonally inspired by the crème de la crème of PAF equipped guitars from Gibsons Golden Era in the late 50’s. Featuring different coil designs to the Spellbound - the bridge wind has the perfect amount of compression without feeling stiff or overly loose in the pick attack. Punchy, loud and clear with just the right amount of bite and growl in the mid range. The neck pickup has more focus, increased note separation and a faster attack. A great choice for players that prefer more definition over a more open sound and spongey feel. Matching A4 is standard and the most versatile choice with its even EQ but also available in A2, A4 or A5 in any configuration
If you love the tone of Tom Bukovac’s 58’ Burst from the ‘Home Skoolin’ channel on YouTube - this is the set for you! Countless hours of testing and refining have gone into capturing the tone of his 58’ and this set has become the Touchstone for Tone Devil PAF’s. A4 neck / A5 bridge and matching A5 also work equally as well - A5 having a ballsier and louder affect with its higher gauss
For players who prefer pairing a Spellbound neck pickup and a little more output in the bridge, refer to the Revelry set

Revelry
The Revelry set pairs a Spellbound in the neck with an Empyrean bridge. Differing from the Spellbound - the bridge retains some give in the pick attack while incorporating increased definition, tighter lows and more clarity to the highs. The A2 projects mid range crunch, a more saturated tone, creamy highs and a percussive quality in the low end. The Spellbound neck is a perfect pairing - its warmth, openness and softer attack make playing feel effortless. These PAF’s are very interactive, summoning the best of your capabilities and inspire a vast palette of tonal expression. An Empyrean A2 neck pickup is also a great pairing and is available upon request (or with magnet of choice)
